It is reported that since June 1, 2023, for all automobiles and motorcycles declared for import through Shanghai Customs, after the imported vehicles have completed the release procedures and passed the inspection, a pilot issuance of a combined two - certificates Certificate will be carried out. The consignee should apply to the customs for the issuance of the new version of the Certificate within three years after the import of automobiles and motorcycles is released and passes the inspection. For imported non - standard - compliant vehicles, the vehicle version and model of the original sales destination country should be declared in the Specifications and Models of the customs declaration form. For imported automobiles and motorcycles that only require the original single Certificate or Inspection Sheet, the issuance procedures will be handled in accordance with the original management regulations. In case of any inconsistency between Announcement No. 34 of the General Administration of Customs in 2015 and this announcement, this announcement shall prevail.
