On January 3, 2023, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2023/001, stating that the anti-dumping measures on steel pallet racking imported from China and Malaysia will expire on May 8, 2024. Interested parties may submit applications for the extension of the anti-dumping measures on the involved products no later than March 4, 2023. If no relevant applications are received within the specified period, the current anti-dumping measures will terminate upon expiration and will no longer apply from May 9, 2024.
On November 13, 2017, Australia initiated an anti-dumping investigation on steel pallet racking imported from China and Malaysia. On June 18, 2018, Australia made a preliminary affirmative determination on the anti-dumping investigation. On May 6, 2019, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2019/45, stating that the Minister for Industry, Science and Technology accepted the Anti-Dumping Commissions final recommendation to impose anti-dumping measures on steel pallet racking imported from China and Malaysia for a period of five years. The Australian Customs tariff code for the involved products is 7308.90.00.
